Introducing Our Certified Nurse Midwives:
Lyric Walsh, CNM    Mary Jo Goodchild, CNM   Kelley Hammis, CNM

Women’s OB-GYN is pleased to provide a midwifery service with three Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM).  Our nurse midwives are board certified and have the mission of providing safe and effective health care for women and infants.  CNMs emphasize health promotion, education, and disease prevention and see the woman as central to the process of providing such care.

Midwifery care is primarily intended for healthy women.  However, when complications arise the patient can receive midwifery care as well as additional care from our excellent OB/GYN physicians.  Every effort is made to meet the wishes of our patients; however, under some circumstances a physician may be present at delivery.

Midwifery care is not limited to pregnancy.  Our full-scope midwifery service can provide annual well-woman exams, contraceptive counseling and other gynecological screenings.  Our midwives look forward to meeting you and caring for you during this important time in your life.
